BDIXP Peering Policy
This policy is established in accordance with Decree No. 1001/122 of May 13, 2014, establishing the regulatory framework for the National Internet Exchange Point of Burundi.
Who can join?
The following are recognized as BDIXP clients:
- Internet Service Providers (ISPs).
- Telecommunications Operators.
- Government entities.
- Content Providers.
- Any other legally recognized public or private entity in Burundi.
Requirements
Every Internet Service Provider or operator must meet the following conditions:
- Legal Status: Possess legal personality and be recognized as an ISP.
- License: Hold a valid license to become a customer.
- Technical Specifications: Comply with the technical specifications of the equipment defined by the managing entity and approved by the ARCT.
